Job Description :
Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens for filling up following temporary posts of Constable (GD] and from male Indian citizen only for Constable (Fire) in CISF in various states all over India :

Constable (General Duty -GD) : 5739 posts (Male-5017, Female-722) + 3832 posts (Male-3376, Female-456)in Naxal affected areas

Constable (Fire) : 108 posts + 65 posts in naxal affected areas

Pay Band : Pay Band-1 - Rs.5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs 2000

Education : For Const/GD : Matriculation or 10th class pass. (ii) For Const/Fire: Matriculation or 10th class pass with science subject.

Age Limit : 18-23 years as on 01/08/09. Relaxation as per rules.

Fee: Fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the respective officers where to be applied.

The last date of receipt of the application is 9th February 2009 and for resident of North East and Andaman & Nicobar islands last date is 16th February 2009.
